UD discovery is one place you can search multiple databases at once and may help return more hits at once. It can be accessed here: http://www.udallas.edu/library/ and scroll down below the search box and you will see "UD Discovery".
Other databases you may have luck with on this topics is Google Scholar. It works the same as regular Google, but it only searches for academic full text articles and books. It's hit our miss sometimes as far as what is free and what would require payment but I have had good luck using Google scholar when it comes to religious topics. You can access Google scholar here: https://scholar.google.com/
As far as your topic, I do think you will need to get pretty specific with your search terms as it related to a moral issue. maybe you just focus on a specific moral issue such as abortion, ethics in the workforce, war, etc. You may even want to get more micro and do a topic like Abortion in Western Culture or War as it relates to morality in the United States. Also think about what time periods you want to span or focus on. The more specific you get, the more relevant hits you will have in any database.
Hope this has helped and if you need more specific guidance let us know. We are always here to help.
